iPod playlist update

In preparation for my week away from technology I am updating my iPod’s play list. I may be able to live without a computer and t.v., but I am not willing to do without my music! I thought I’d share the new additions with all of you.
I added Wild Cherry’s “Play that Funky Music”. I couldn’t help myself, it is summer after all. The Princess made a face! I don’t think she’ll be listening to Wild Cherry somehow.
There’s also Sting and Eric Clapton, I never become bored with their music. Also some Daughtry; Needtobreathe’s “Shine On” and Roberta Flack’s Best of Roberta Flack c.d.. I love this c.d. it has all her old seventies hits, “The Closer I Get to You”, Feel Like Makin’ Love”, “The First Time Ever I saw Your Face”, “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?”.
Bill Withers’ “Ain’t no Sunshine” and “Lean on Me” made the list. Joss Stone with “Tell Me What We’re Gonna Do Now” and “What Were We Thinking”, as well as Angelique Kidjo and Joss Stone’s “Gimme Shelter”. There’s also some Lifehouse and The Fray.
Natasha Bedingfield is on the playlist as are Mary J. Blige, Red Hot Chili Peppers and KT Tunstall. Dido’s two c.d.s “No Angel” and “Life for Rent” are also along for the trip.
The Princess and I visited iTunes together and interestingly like many of the same artists, which made for happy shopping. She, however, doesn’t limit herself to music, she invested in a lot of Dane Cook. He is pretty funny and what is even funnier than listening to him is coming upon Princess G apparently laughing for no reason. Then you realize she is listening to her iPod and Dane Cook!
I’d better get back to my vacation prep!
